
Mariia Zhuldybina is a scientist and innovator with a background in photonics and electrical engineering who is fueled by creativity, curiosity, exploring new applications, and building solutions towards a livable future. She completed her PhD at École de Technology Supérieure in 2021. Her research focuses on the design of resonant photonic structures for industrial quality control of printed electronics using terahertz radiation. She is passionate about bringing terahertz technology out of the lab and into the industrial sector.

Caroline Boudoux is a Professor of Engineering Physics at Polytechnique Montréal and a founding member of Castor Optics. She is also on the Board of Meetings for OPTICA and the Board of Directors at Institut National d’Optique (INO), a Fellow of SPIE, and a member of the COPL. Caroline has authored three textbooks in optics and engineering and contributed to several edited books, publications, and patents. Her areas of research include biomedical imaging, optical coherence tomography, confocal and nonlinear microscopy, and endoscopic imaging.

François Daoust holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, working at CRCHUM and Polytechnique Montreal. He has a master’s degree in biomedical engineering from Polytechnique Montreal and a bachelor’s degree in engineering physics from the same institution. Before his academic career, François served as a veteran in the Canadian Forces. He is the CTO of Exclaro and Assistant Director General and also serves as a Senior Advisor for Reveal Science.
